Detailed Problem Description

Getting below error message while drill-down the report into following grouping levels: United States Sales > FOOT BALL - ON FIELD > FOOT BALL > NFL PROPERTIES > ARIZONA CARDINALS.

Solution Analysis and Recommendations

1. Need to update the datasource of the report in Crystal Report designer.
2. Need to run the report in Crystal Report designer.
3. Need to check whether we are getting same error message in the designer.
4. Need to run the report in BI Launchpad.
5. Need to check whether we are getting same error message in the BI Launchpad.
6. Need to find which field causing the report error.
7. Need to run the problematic field in the report to find whether it is giving any alphanumeric fields or any special characters.
8. If there is any special/ alphanumeric field in the report we need to restrict it.

Resolution

1. Need to run the report by placing Material filed.
2. Need to restrict the filed in the BEx query.
